Ephesians 2:1-10 reminds us that before Christ we were dead in our trespasses and sins.  However, God has made us alive in Christ — by grace — and now we are his workmanship created in Christ for good works.  This sermon continues the theme of God’s unfathomable grace given us in Christ and begins to lead us into the new life we are able to live because of grace.

In Ephesians 1.15-23 we see that as baptized people we are the Body of Christ and the fullness of him that falls all and is in all. Part of what this means is that we share in Christ’s royalty and make his Kingdom present at every point our lives intersect with our world.

The sermon for Trinity Sunday was about God the Father’s eternal will adopt sons and daughters through the work of the only begotten Son of God by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.  Examining Romans 8:12-17, the sermon looked at the amazing gift of believers have of being drawn into and sharing the love relationship between God the Father and God the Son.
